What I did in the weekends with my Whanau!!

During my amazing weekends that i spent with my older brother Tyson, Tyson Took My Younger brothers and i to Paradise ice skating, Paradise ice skating is a fun and amazing place to go. We left at 8.00 But we booked in for 8.30, I suddenly thought about having something to eat before we started ice skating. At 8.30 we had our session until 11.00 The day we went ice skating was on a Saturday night.

Human Knot Kiwi can!!

Yesterday Rm 10 students had a fun and exiting kiwi can game called Human knot, Mrs Lillie and Mr Numia was split in two teams, Mrs Lillie was with the girls and Mr Numia was with one group of the boys. There were two groups but there were to much boys in that one group so they had to split Up!!

Human Knot is a very fun and an amazing game to play with your family. Hope You enjoyed Your time at kiwi Can !!!

Cross Country Glenbrae School.

Last week Wednesday Glenbrae school had a fun and exiting cross country day, My Younger Brother Robert he is a Year 3 and he came 1st, My other brother Mena he is in Rm 9 and he is a year 5 and he came 5th. My goal was to come 2nd but it was about having fun and amazing time with the school

Gymnastics Kiwi Sport GBS!!

Early This Morning Rm 10 students Had a Fun Gymnastics Activity with the Gymnastics Coach, Gymnastics Was really fun because we got to do fun activity's with other students in rm 10, I had fun learning new Things and playing new games. hope You enjoyed Gymnastics Glenbrae School!!

Marcus Thomas New Zealand Caveman

The last two weeks we have been learning about a New Zealand caveman named Marcus Thomas. For The past week Rm 10 has learnt lots of things from this Book, The equipment we use for caving is, Boots , Climbing Ropes , Head Lamp , Helmet , Compass , climbing harness , Tape Measure , and finally Overalls . Learning How to make things Glow in the Dark With Mrs Tofa

Yesterday Rm 10 Students had a fun Science activity with Mr Tofa, The Materials we used were simple Sharpies That Teachers use at school . Mrs Card Used her mobile phone and made a blue filter by using tape, Blue and purple Sharpies,

Step By Step how to make things glow in the dark.,

Highlighter
Pour water half way into a clear cup
Take the Highlighter ink stick out and add it to the Water.

We Tried these experiments with Mrs Tofa in a dark room at the end of the corridor we had so much fun learning how things glow in the dark.

My fantastic Holiday Spent well with Skids!

In the holidays, I decided to attend the skids holiday programme that was happening at our school. My younger brothers and I had been really happy in skids because it was fun and amazing. Skids is basically a after school programme for kids who have no one to look after them at home. They bring students from different schools of Auckland to Glenbrae skids!

The first week of Skids, we all went to gravity. Gravity is a place where people jump on trampolines and have a blast! We were there for about 2 - 3 hours straight. It was very fun. Then next week, we all went to skate land. We were all skating and some of us fell down which was funny to look at. We then brought some lollies from a special vending machine. After all of those exciting activities, It was almost time for term 3 of school.

I thought every moment was fun, interesting and exciting. I hope we can do more fun activities in the holidays with Skids.
